Attending the AAAE Annual Conference & Exposition in Los Angeles was a great experience and one of the highlights of my internship so far with Daktronics. It was great getting the opportunity to meet professionals from across the country, work alongside the Daktronics team and learn more about the aviation industry.
During the conference I spent time at the Daktronics booth talking with attendees, learning more about our product and seeing how the sales team builds relationships with customers. Being able to observe those conversations and interact with people at the show helped me learn more about sales side of the business.
I also had the chance to attend sessions throughout the conference and hear Jason Kidd speak, which was a cool experience. One of the best parts of the trip was being able to network, meet new people and continue growing professionally throughout the event.
Overall, attending AAAE helped me build more confidence in a professional environment and gave me valuable experience as a sales intern. I’m grateful for the opportunity and excited to continue learning throughout the rest of my internship with Daktronics.
